Legal Aid for Family Mediation

Legal aid for family mediation is available to households with low income.
 

We will need to assess you for legal aid to determine whether you qualify, we will do this at the start of the process after a referral has been received. At the same time we will tell you what documents we will need from you.

If you’ve started the mediation process and would like to be assessed for legal aid, please contact us.
 

If you qualify for legal aid and have provided the relevant supporting documentation, the mediation process will be free for you. Your legal aid may also cover the first assessment meeting and first mediation session for the other participant.
